This category recognises the most innovative and impactful energy procurement strategy that has been implemented or is ongoing over the past 12 months. Entry is by a 5 A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for clear information, backed up by evidence, that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.

Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.

• Organisation Background: Outline the size and nature of your organisation. Include your annual energy spend and any accreditation, benchmarking, or external validation.
• Strategy Overview: Please provide a background of the energy procurement strategy including the rationale behind it, brief and objectives, key team members, time allocated and budget.
• Implementation & Challenges: Demonstrate how the brief of the procurement strategy was implemented and fulfilled, including any challenges faced and how the team worked together to overcome them.
• Innovation: Please include details of any unique efforts or processes that have been employed, demonstrating how innovation in the procurement strategy and/or execution helped the outcome.
• Outcomes & Results: Summarise the outcomes of the procurement strategy and provide evidence of how you measure its success.
• Supporting facts & statements: Include any other facts or statements that you feel are relevant to support the entry, including awards and accreditations in the procurement field.
