This award is open to organisations or project teams across the island of Ireland that have successfully developed, piloted, or demonstrated innovative energy solutions. The judges will want to understand how innovation has moved beyond concept into practical delivery, with measurable outcomes and potential for wider adoption.

  • Project Background: Describe the innovation, its purpose, and the problem it addresses.
  • Strategy Background: Outline how the innovation aligns with organisational or sectoral energy goals and the objectives set for demonstration.
  • Implementation: Explain how the project was delivered, including partnerships, testing, risk management, and performance validation.
  • Organisation Commitment: Describe investment, leadership support, and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Outcomes & Results: Provide evidence of performance, learning outcomes, and potential for scale or replication.
  • Supporting Facts & Statements: Include patents, pilot results, or third-party validation where applicable.
