The Business Energy Achievement Awards celebrated Ireland’s energy innovators at a gala event on 26th September 2025, recognising the organisations and individuals setting new standards in sustainability and efficiency.

Croke Park was named winner of the Overall Energy Achievement Award, highlighting the stadium’s pioneering approach to energy management and its role as a national model for large-scale sustainability initiatives. The accolade underscores the venue’s commitment to long-term carbon reduction and operational excellence.

The Energy Leader 2025 title was awarded to David Maguire, Founder & CEO of BNRG Renewables, in recognition of his leadership in advancing renewable energy solutions in Ireland and abroad. His vision and influence have been instrumental in driving sector-wide progress.

In addition, Luke Deasy of Copper Coast Renewables was named Best Energy Manager, reflecting his outstanding work in implementing innovative strategies, achieving measurable efficiencies, and embedding a culture of sustainability within his organisation.
