Northern Ireland’s Utility Regulator plans to tighten protections for small business energy consumers, proposing rules to force electricity and gas suppliers to be clearer on prices, security deposits, and switching terms. The draft code of practice will be consulted on this autumn, with final decisions expected after feedback closes on 4 August.
