The Business Energy Achievement Awards 2026 has announced its winners following the Gala Ceremony held on 16 September 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry. The evening brought together Ireland's leading energy practitioners, sustainability leaders, and industry decision-makers to celebrate measurable achievement in energy management, decarbonisation, and innovation across the country's most energy-intensive sectors.

This year's awards programme spanned twenty-one categories, reflecting the full breadth of Ireland's energy transition and the diverse pathways through which organisations are delivering verifiable progress. From Best Energy Management Team and Best Energy Achievement in Manufacturing to Innovation in Decarbonisation across three organisational scales, the programme recognised performance at every level of Irish industry, from large multinationals to SMEs and public sector bodies.

Categories contested on the night included Best Energy Achievement in Food and Beverage, Best Energy Excellence in Healthcare and Life Sciences, Best Energy Excellence in Commercial Operations, Best Energy Achievement in Utilities, Best Energy Achievement in Public Sector, Best Energy Excellence in Food, Agriculture and Consumer Products, Sustainable Energy Achievement in Water Usage, Best Energy Excellence in Campuses, Tourism and Public Venues, Best Energy Achievement in Transport, Digital Innovation in Energy Management, Best Achievement in Harnessing Solar Energy, Sustainable Construction and Building Performance, Best Energy Achievement in Innovation and Demonstration, and Best Energy Achievement in Company Performance.

The Overall Energy Achievement Award and Energy Leader 2026 were also presented on the night, recognising the organisations and individuals whose contribution to Ireland's energy transition stands above all others in the 2026 programme.

The Business Energy Achievement Awards continue to serve as Ireland's national benchmark for energy excellence, raising the standard of ambition and performance across every sector it touches.
