Taking centre stage at the Business Energy Achievement Awards 2025, Kepak was awarded the Best Energy Achievement in Food & Beverage – Large award as a recognition in the company’s ambitious and measurable approach to decarbonisation and energy efficiency.
Kepak has implemented a comprehensive sustainability and energy strategy designed to reduce emissions and optimise energy use across its operations.
Through detailed water and energy mapping, targeted staff training, and capital investments, including wind turbines and heat recovery systems, the company has achieved a 41.8% reduction in emissions since 2018.

Judges praised Kepak for presenting a clear and ambitious energy masterplan, highlighting both achievements to date and future initiatives. They commended the company’s ability to combine measurable outcomes with strong staff engagement, demonstrating an authentic and practical approach to energy management.
“This entry reflects a firm commitment to decarbonisation and a proactive strategy to embed sustainability at every level of operations,” the panel noted.
