Voltalia has obtained a turnkey engineering, procurement and construction contract for ESB's 124.2 MW Wexford Hub solar project through Renvolt, its recently established services subsidiary, marking the latest expansion of the French company's Irish portfolio, GlobeNewswire reports.

The agreement strengthens collaboration with ESB, Ireland's semi-state energy services company, following four previous projects completed or under construction. ESB awarded Voltalia two EPC contracts in July 2025 for the Carriglong (43.7 MW) and Clashwilliam (49.2 MW) solar plants.

Located in County Wexford, the 124.2 MW installation will receive Renvolt's engineering, procurement and construction expertise, followed by an operation and maintenance contract. The subsidiary will mobilise both local and international teams to ensure performance, reliability and timely delivery.

With this contract, capacity currently under construction for third parties by Renvolt now exceeds 1 GW, confirming its position as a strategic partner in Ireland's energy transition. Robert Klein, chief executive of Voltalia, said: "We are proud to further strengthen our collaboration with ESB through this project led by our subsidiary Renvolt."

Eduardo Porras, chief executive of Renvolt, described the contract as marking a decisive milestone. "With Wexford Hub, we are deploying all our expertise to deliver a high-performance, reliable and competitive solar plant," Porras said.

Since 2005, the renewable energy market has evolved from initial development phases to global demand for operational efficiency and reliability. Renvolt draws on international experience to support clients across all regions, combining local and global talent for continuous assistance.

Today, Renvolt boasts 5.6 GW of projects built or under construction and manages operation and maintenance of 1.9 GW of assets across 14 countries with more than 400 dedicated employees.
