US-headquartered temporary power solutions provider CES Power has completed the acquisition of three Ireland-based businesses, GH Energy Rental Ltd, Event Power, and Purecore, in a move that establishes it as the largest power fleet operator across the UK and Ireland. The three companies specialise in temporary power generation and distribution for live events, broadcast, and industrial projects, and their combined assets will significantly enhance CES Power's fleet of generators, lighting towers, transformers, distribution boards, cabling infrastructure, and specialist power management systems.
Electronics Weekly reported that GH Energy Rental is based in Dublin, while Event Power and Purecore are both headquartered in Portlaoise, with the acquisitions adding two Dublin-based operations and one in Portlaoise to CES Power's growing European network. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
Ailsa Webb, division president UK/Europe of CES Power, said the firm has ambitious plans to continue growing its presence across the UK and Europe, and that the acquisitions are an important step in scaling its capability in Ireland. She added that the founders of all three businesses will remain in leadership roles to ensure continuity for customers while enabling efficient integration, capacity expansion, and further growth.
Jordan Reber, CEO of CES Power, said the acquisitions strengthen the company's presence in Ireland, enhance its ability to support customers working across borders, and reinforce its position as a leading global temporary power partner.
The transactions bring CES Power's total acquisitions to 16 since it was acquired by private equity firm Allied Industrial Partners in June 2021. The latest deals follow the earlier acquisitions of four European businesses, Euro Touring Power, Fourth Generation, ABird, and Apex Power Solutions, as the company continues its strategy of sustained year-on-year revenue growth across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
