The Business Energy Achievement Awards 2026 is currently accepting entries from organisations across Ireland committed to advancing energy performance, reducing carbon output, and driving sustainability innovation. Submissions remain open until 5 June 2026, with finalists announced on 16 July 2026. Organisations operating across all sectors are invited to demonstrate measurable energy achievement and strategic contribution to Ireland's energy transition.
The awards programme serves as Ireland's benchmark for energy excellence, recognising organisations that move beyond compliance to deliver verifiable, replicable outcomes across a broad range of operational environments. From large-scale industrial facilities to SMEs and public sector bodies, the programme evaluates performance on the strength of evidence, strategic ambition, and measurable impact rather than organisational size or sector profile.
Award categories span Best Energy Achievement in Food and Beverage, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Retail, Construction, and Public Sector, alongside Best Energy Management Team for both SME and large organisations, and Innovation in Decarbonisation for SME and large entrants. Together, these categories reflect the full breadth of Ireland's energy landscape and the diverse pathways through which organisations are achieving meaningful progress.
Entries are evaluated by an independent judging panel of energy professionals, sustainability leaders, and sector specialists, with assessment criteria centred on quantifiable performance outcomes, innovation, and contribution to advancing industry standards.
The awards gala takes place on 16 September 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry, bringing together Ireland's leading energy practitioners for an evening of recognition and industry networking.
Visit the official awards website to submit your entry before the 5 June 2026 deadline, explore award categories, and subscribe to the newsletter for programme updates.
