Best Procurement Strategy
This category recognises the most innovative and impactful energy procurement strategy that has been implemented or is ongoing over the past 18 months.
Entry is by a 5 A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for clear information, backed up by evidence, that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.
Organisation Background: Outline the size and nature of your organisation. Include your annual energy spend and any accreditation, benchmarking, or external validation.
Strategy Overview: Please provide a background of the energy procurement strategy including the rationale behind it, brief and objectives, key team members, time allocated and budget.
Implementation & Challenges: Demonstrate how the brief of the procurement strategy was implemented and fulfilled, including any challenges faced and how the team worked together to overcome them.
Innovation: Please include details of any unique efforts or processes that have been employed, demonstrating how innovation in the procurement strategy and/or execution helped the outcome.
Outcomes & Results: Summarise the outcomes of the procurement strategy and provide evidence of how you measure its success.
Include any other facts or statements that you feel are relevant to support the entry, including awards and accreditations in the procurement field.
