Best Energy Manager
This award will recognise the person who has played a key role in the successful implementation of their organisation’s energy management strategy.
The Energy Manager can be nominated by themselves or anyone within their organisation that believes the individual concerned has made a significant contribution via their activities or influence. Please ensure that you have the nominee’s permission before making the submission.
Entry is by a 5 A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for clear information, backed up by evidence, that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.
Career summary: Please include a summary that describes career to date, age, and qualifications.
Leadership: Outline how the individual has displayed strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, commitment, and enthusiasm for the role.
Contribution: Describe how the nominee’s role has led to an increased integration of energy management within their organisation’s facilities and what benefits have been achieved, particularly over the past 18 months.
Achievements: What are the outcomes or changes they have achieved over the past 18 months that demonstrate their organisation’s engagement to energy management continuous improvement? Include any examples of how energy management has been integrated into daily operations.
Other facts & statements: Include any other statements or facts that support the entry, including a supporting letter from the nominee’s head of department or another senior manager.
