Best Energy Achievement in Public Sector
This award is open to councils, government departments and all sections of the public service who can demonstrate effective sustainable energy initiatives.
The judges will want to know everything you do to reduce your energy use and carbon dioxide emissions. You must explain what you have achieved so far and what you hope to achieve in the future. And we need to see evidence of an overall strategy that sets out your targets and how you plan to achieve them and hard statistics demonstrating year-on-year comparisons.
Entry is by a 5 A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for freshness of content and clear information and evidence of delivery on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.

Strategy Background: Provide a background of your energy strategy, outlining how it was developed, its objectives, and the measurable targets set.

Include all achievements made in reducing energy demand and increasing your use of renewables. Show comparisons to previous years where possible and describe how the impacts and benefits were measured and reported.
